Stewart "Stew" Evans (June 19, 1908 – June 2, 1996) was a professional ice hockey player who played 367 games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Maroons, and Montreal Canadiens. He won the Stanley Cup in 1935 with the Montreal Maroons. He served as the final Captain of the Montreal Maroons from 1937–1938. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Ice hockey is a team sport played on ice, in which skaters use wooden or composite sticks to shoot a hard rubber puck into their opponent's net.
