The objective was to determine the relationship between motivation and quality of life of older adults in attendance at CAM - Comas. Year 2018. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, correlational, descriptive study was conducted in a sample of 100 older adults who were interviewed, and two rating scales were applied: Motivation Scale ML - 96, and Fumat Scale. The collected data were entered into the SPSS database; they were processed with the percentile test. It was correlated with Chi2 test. The results showed that a little more than half (51%) indicated high motivation, with a slight tendency to medium motivation (27%). High quality of life predominated in a little less than half (44%) with a slight tendency to the mean. Conclusions. There was a relationship between motivation and quality of life. H1 was accepted.
