Considering that the existing inequality in socialization between men and women that leads to inequality between them and facilitates gender violence, we at the "VGP" (Violence, Gender, Psychodrama) Team developed this book with the purpose of presenting our experience of professional intervention in the implementation of a differential strategy, "Psychodrama", in the approach of assistance to men with violent behavior to reduce the risk for women. This macho and patriarchal masculinity, established and strengthened by the social context, makes it impossible for these men to deconstruct their violent masculinity only from the perspective of the word. With psychodrama, different dimensions are addressed: cognitive, behavioural, emotional and bonding interaction. These aspects are inscribed in the behavior of men from a model of violent masculinity sustained by the culture in which we are immersed and it is necessary to deconstruct this model of men in order to build an equitable form of bonding between the different genders.
