Even though it is compressed in an urban area, the Jansen Lagoon maintains a variety of species of native forest fauna and flora, but it also suffers from the problem of pollution. This contamination factor in the water influences the quality of the fish, which may carry microorganisms that trigger possible food poisoning. The objective of this study was to recognize the bioindicators of contamination in the fish of the Jansen Lagoon and to evaluate the susceptibility profile of bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family, compared to conventional antibiotics, isolated from the fish of the Jansen Lagoon.
