Nowadays information systems are known to be attractive from many aspects. For instance, accessing the web during travelling by train or during a normal flight is not an issue any more. This application requires mobile antennas for the transmission of broadband data streaming. In this book a new antenna operating in Ku frequency band is presented. It is a dielectric resonator antenna which is used as a radiating element of a TX phased array of active integrated antennas. Another aspect of information systems regards the development of wearable devices with a great impact in the wireless body centric area, in military and medical applications. These systems consist in wireless TX/RX devices. Their efficiency and performances can be improved by a proper characterization of the communication channel. In this book an analysis of space diversity performance for on body communication channels is addressed. Also, a new low profile wearable antenna is presented. Since all these systems use electromagnetic fields at different frequencies and intensities, a study of their possible effects at cellular level is also provided.
