Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) play a pivotal role in accelarating development for so called developing countries. The backbone of many countries rest on the accessibility and availability of various ICTs that contribute to national development. One would therefore assume that ICT stories covered in local print media would be given considerable space and importance. This research seeks to find out whether the New Era, a partially state owned newspaper in Namibia, places the importance of ICT stories as compared to other news stories that are featured in the newspaper. This is a content analysis that will provide a snapshot view of ICT reporting of print media, and a good starting point for other researchers in the same field.
