Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The 2007 Cannes Film Festival, the sixtieth, ran from 16 to 27 May 2007. Wong Kar-wai's My Blueberry Nights opened the festival, and Denys Arcand's The Age of Ignorance closed (Wong was the 2006 Cannes Film Festival's Jury president). The President of the Official Jury was British director Stephen Frears. The Cannes film Festival, founded in 1946, is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious film festivals. The private festival is held annually (usually in May) at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, in the resort town of Cannes, in the south of France.
