The purpose of this book was to analyze the labor factor and its relationship in the pursuit of a professionalization at the graduate level within the School of Communication Sciences (ECC) of the University of San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC). Likewise, it describes the characteristics and needs of the students of Communication of the last year of Bachelor's Degree of 2020, night shift, daily plan, determining their position to continue professionalizing at master's level. This research arose because it was observed by the researcher that the classrooms where the postgraduate courses offered by the school are taught have been found very empty, with few students and in many cases failed to reach the minimum number of students to enable the postgraduate courses. On the other hand, it is made known to the reader that this research describes part of the author's experience within the media in her country, thus enriching the study.
