All seven members are elected at-large every three years. Nolan Crouse (born November 1953) is the current mayor of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. Crouse's professional background includes managerial positions with a number of different companies, including Procter and Gamble, Alberta Energy Company, West Fraser Timber Co., Slave Lake Pulp Corporation, and Sunchild Forest Products (which he owned). He has received a Master's of Business Administration from Cape Breton University. He is also a longtime hockey coach, including stints as coach of the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Fort Saskatchewan Traders and Brooks Bandits, as well as the St. Albert Merchants of Edmonton's Capital Junior Hockey League.
