Hypochromic anemia was seen across all age groups ranging from 18 -59 years of age with a mean age of 34.44 years.3. 55% were females and 45% were males.4. Majority of cases of hypochromic anemia were 68% in a age range from18-38 years.5. Pedal oedema and fever were the most frequent symptoms observed inhypochromic anemia followed by anorexia and dyspepsia.
